Infant Flower Girl Headband

I made this for the youngest flower girl. The giant blossom was so cute on her little head. She was pulled down the aisle in a cute little wagon. Such a doll!

Flower Girl Halos

These were for the 2 little, adorable flower girls. Wait until you see their dresses that they wore. They looked like little forest fairies.

Bridesmaids Hair Clips/Headband

Here are the hair accessories I made for the bridesmaids to wear. They include 1 headband and 9 hair clips. They looked so elegant in all the girls hair but then again, I might be a little biased. =)

Flower Girl Baskets

The Flower Girl dresses were just so cute that the Bride had wanted something simple, yet elegant for their baskets. The small rosettes match the halos the little cutie pies wore. The long ribbons hanging from both were so whimsical and precious.

Fabric Flower Pomanders

It is popular to hang pomanders of fresh flowers down the aisle of a wedding ceremony. However, this particular bride was going for something a little different. I made her 8 pomanders each with about 25 handmade, fabric flowers in 5 different styles. That is 125 flowers total!! They were a lot of work, but I think they came out beautifully!

Bride's Slippers

What Bride doesn't like a little bling? The Bride bought a pair of plain slippers in hopes of wearing them on her special day but felt they were missing...a whole lot! To match her vintage theme, I added pretty rhinestones atop a fabric rosette. She had aisle worthy toes that complimented her beautiful day!

Redesigned Wedding Guest Book

This guest book came to me as a plain, white book with "Guest" embossed in gold. To give it a richer look, I wrapped it in satin and adorned it with pearls, rhinestones, and champagne rosettes. I thought it would be a challenge but it was rather simple to do. I also placed one of their engagement pics on the inside {not pictured} with the date. Now her and her new husband will have a keepsake that will forever remind them of all the people who shared in their special day.

"Admit One" Place Cards

The Bride and Groom have a theater in their basement because they LOVE, LOVE, LOVE movies. So, what better way than to use movie titles for table numbers instead of the traditional table numbers?!?!

The guests "starred" in the movie where they were sitting at and Each table had a small poster of the movie {shown in a later post} on the table so they could easily locate them. It was a really cool idea and it looked amazing!

{The letters on the back indicated the meal/s the guests chose}

Gathered Ring Bearer Pillow with Large Blossom

The Bride gave me a ring bearer pillow that was given to her. She wanted one that matched her colors and one that would fit in with the style of her wedding. This was what I came up with!

This is what it looked like

Wedding Programs with Fabric Rosette

I am SO excited to finally post all of this wedding goodness. It was only 9 months ago that one of my closest and dearest friends called me {I lived in Chicago at the time}to tell me she was engaged and asked me if I would be a part of her very special day. I was so honored to be her bridesmaid and couldn't be happier for her.

I brought up the topic of helping her with her wedding. She was elated that I asked. She had such a vision for her wedding day. I just helped bring it to life.

So, for the first of {MANY} wedding posts to come, here is the first creation.

Her wedding program!

My Wedding Decor

The Wedding Slippers

I bought the slippers for me and the flower girl at David's Bridal and sewed on Swarovski Crystals to of course give them SPARKLE!

Bubbles!

I bought the bubble packs from Michael's and stamped our initials and "bubbly" design on the tags with matching ribbon.

The Programs

The "Thank You's" inside the program.

The front of the program with our initials and the date on the handle.

The programs in their basket ready to be handed to the guests.

The Flower Decor

I made the flower arrangements myself to save on money. They were not real but I like to think it was hard to tell. =) The above arrangements were at the back of the aisle. Bright colors I know. Hey, it was a summer wedding. And, I love bright colors!!!!

The above arrangements were at the front of the aisle.

These were the decor pomodores that hung on the chair's down the aisle.

The Flower Girl's Bouquet

Communion Glasses

I wrapped glass beads around the stem to match the color theme of my wedding. Sorry the picture is fuzzy.

Wedding Programs & Table Decor

The programs at the Ceremony. Loved the sunshine on them.
The sign was for the guest favors.

All of the roses before curling the edges...wow!

I made these programs & table decor for my Husband's Aunt's wedding last year (2008). They were very time consuming but I really like the outcome of them. I got the flower idea from "aNeMonE Handmade Paper Flowers" and put my own twist on them. I hope you like them!
