Psalms 55:22 Bookmark

Cast your cares on the LORD and he will sustain you; He will never let the righteous be shaken. Psalm 55:22

I received an order for 4 bookmarks from a good friend of mine for her coworkers. She is a very encouraging and uplifting person. She chose Psalms 55:22 for the message on each bookmark. This bookmark is similar to a previous bookmark I made a while back called "Fly". Only this time I added more purple and the message is different.

The ribbon was initially cream colored. I needed a soft purple so I inked the ribbon. I also added glossy accents to the butterflies and...

to the Psalms 55:22.

I accidentally created a "resist" on the back of the bookmarks. I can't wait to show you how I did it and what I used. Here are some of the pics of the backside of the bookmarks that have the resist.

LadyBug Diaper Cake

My aunt is throwing a ladybug themed baby shower for a friend of hers.  She asked me if I would make a diaper cake. I was so excited!! Then I thought..hmmm. What am I gonna do? I decided to make the diaper cake itself into giant ladybug!! I even used the idea from Kate over at "And Everything Sweet" for the diaper cake stand. She uses her stands for her adorable cupcakes. =)

I stitched slip covers for the diapers for each tier. Not too bad for a girl who doesn't sew I guess. Then My ladybug needed a little tulle skirt because after all, she is a lady. ;)

I added the antennae to top off my ladybug!! I love the tulle at the top of the ladybug's head.

The "A.G." are the initials for the little one. The font is from the Storybook cartridge. I made my own shadow for it as well. Of course it has to have polka-dots too! I wrapped the diapers with this amazing rose strip fabric. It was just what i needed for the ladybug's head!

Fall Acorn Wreath

I made this fall wreath for a friend to give as a birthday gift to her MIL.  I love making these! I just adore how they can change a front door. That rhymed a bit...hmmm. No I think I will stick to crafting instead of writing poetry. =) Anyway, Thanks for looking!

"Trinity" Baby Sign

This sign was ordered for a little girl who loves purple, pink, butterflies, and fairies. The fairies are actually stamps by Recollections called "Beautiful fairies." The butterflies are from Tinker Bell and Friends as well as the name.It is hard to see but the sign sparkles just a little bit. Lots of glitter, sparkle and fun. I am into the whole ruffle thing as is everyone else so I of course had to add a ruffle to the ribbon. =)

Lucky for me, the little girls name had all the letters except for the "Y" in the "Tinker Bell" cut. I had to put the "Y" together with some of the other letters, if that makes any sense.

I had to cut out the stamped images piece by piece to turn them into paper. I customized some of the pieces.

I Won! I Won!

I follow this super cute blog called And Everything Sweet She is super talented. She does a lot of cakes, treats, and decor which are all incredibly cute. Anyway, she saw a cupcake stand in a boutique and thought she would make her own. Then she decided to do a giveaway. She had made a few cupcake stands and you had to leave a comment and let her know which one was your favorite. So I entered the giveaway and because of my love of polka dots and pink, I had to pick the pink and  black polka dot stand!!

And, you will never guess...your right...I WON!!! I am so very excited and grateful! Plus she linked to my blog. Isn't that nice? I thought so too! Here is the link to the cupcake stand *HERE*. Just had to share my exciting news. =) WOOHOO...okay I am done now!!
